Dermal Fillers

As we age, it is normal for the face to lose volume, deep fat pads in the face under the muscles shrink with age which contributes to the droop to the face as we age, this volume loss can be replaced using quality dermal fillers placed correctly. We also can lose volume in our lips or they can be lacking in hydration. Dermal fillers in the lips are a great option for restoring the lips to what they once were.

What are Dermal Fillers Made Of And Why Choose Them?

Dermal fillers are primarily made with hyaluronic acid, a sugar molecule that is found naturally within the human body.  It is manufactured to be crosslinked so that it will not be broken down in the body as quick as it naturally is (HA us usually broken down in 24 hours). By strategically injecting dermal fillers into the face we can replace volume loss and give a rejuvenating natural aesthetic result.  Advanced medical techniques and anatomical understanding ensure this is only done to replace what is lost so results are natural and fresh and not a look of being ‘over-filled’. We have in-depth knowledge of products and medical injection techniques.

At SO Aesthetics Clinic Northern Ireland, we only work with the premium brands to ensure best result outcomes, longevity and safety for our patients.

When Will I See Results?

Probably one of the most satisfying treatments to have done as results are immediate. Although some swelling or bruising may be present after so it is worth while bearing this in mind, especially if having any filler treatments before a big event.
